The Christian Healing Mission
22nd July at Ashley

Experiencing more of the presence of Jesus

We all know that Jesus has promised to be with us always, so what can we expect?  Is he a silent figure watching from on high or a living, active presence that changes our lives as well as those around us?

On 22nd July the Revd Sarah Swift, Chaplain of The Christian Healing Mission will be joining us for our service at Ashley and an afternoon session to help us explore this and experience more of Jesus and his transforming touch for ourselves.

Sarah has been Chaplain at the Christian Healing Mission for 7 years where she oversees the regular prayer ministry, trains volunteers and leads services. She has a background as a Christian counsellor and has been involved in praying for others for over 25 years. She has a passion to see people know more of God’s touch in their lives.

Sarah will share from her experiences of seeing God at work in beautiful ways, bringing healing, restoration and transformation. In the afternoon (1.30-3.30) we will have a chance to hear more about experiencing the presence of Jesus and how we can help others experience this as we pray with them. We will have time to try ourselves as well as to receive.
