Ashley building

Welcome to Ashley Church
Ashley Road, St Albans, Herts, AL1 5DA

Ashley is an independent Christian church. Our foundation is in the evangelical tradition but the people in our community have always come from a mixed background of Christian traditions, which we value. Our goal is ultimately trying to help each other to obey the two great commandments of Jesus Christ: to love God and to love our neighbour. We have a lay leadership team, informal and interactive services and we value prayer, Bible study, service and worship. We believe in the supernatural works of God as well as God working through the mind, emotions and intellect. Our ethos is of inclusivity and acceptance and we encourage variety in our expression of spirituality. We meet on Sunday mornings in the Fleetville area of St Albans. You are very welcome to join us.

Thy Kingdom Come

Join the Global Wave of Prayer
10th - 20th May 2018
Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus.  What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

Ashley Church is joining in by opening our doors for prayer from 7 - 8pm each weekday evening from 10th to 18th May and at our usual prayer meetings at
 7.30am on Saturday mornings and
9.35am on Sunday mornings.

Please consider how you can take part in this nationwide call to Christians to join a wave of prayer across the UK and around the world.

Sundays at 10.00 am*
(till approximately 11.15 am) followed by coffee until about 12.30pm.

* please note that because of the Ashley Away Day, there will not be a meeting on Sunday 20th May

We meet in smaller groups at other times.
